Saurabh's POV

Where the fuck did I just landed myself into. Can't I find any other excuse other than already having a girlfriend. More ever to convince them I have to -I was in my own thinking when I flinched suddenly when something hit my face or more like FRENCH FRIES. WTF!

I blinked several times looking at it.

"Hey Mr. come back to world." Jasmine snapped at me.

"Hey why did you throw my french fries at him." darling complained.

'It's Elina' my subconscious mind reminded me.

'Yeah yeah I know it's not like I am calling it out loud' I scoffed.

' But because of this I think you will land yourself in trouble' my subconscious mind mocked me.

'I am already in trouble' I reminded him.

"Hey you are again zoning out." Jasmine said. "Weren't you the one who told me that you need help." Jasmine reminded me.

I nod and took the french fries which landed on my file after hitting my face and ate it. It's not like that it had fallen on floor. So, I can still eat it.

"It's a long story."

"We are free." Jasmine replied munching a fries in her mouth.

I sighed and with that I told her yesterday's incident— the deal, grandfather's proposal and my lie about my girlfriend.

"As far as I know you don't have a girlfriend." Jasmine asked confirming whether the information she knows is correct or not. I shook my heading in no.

Suddenly she started laughing "Oh my friend! didn't you just get any other excuse." she said and started laughing again.

I rolled my eyes. I was thinking the same.

Elina looked at me with open mouth. I took the French fry and stuffed it in her mouth. Because of this action she flinched when something went in her mouth. But started to chew it after realising its french fries, giving me a weird look which I royally ignored.

"Puri baat kyun nahi batata." a voice came from door of my cabin. Its Naksh. He has a habit of entering my cabin without knocking.

(Why don't you tell them the whole thing)

"Hey Naksh." Jasmine greeted him.

"Hii Jasmine." he greeted back. "Oh, Elina is also there. Hi Elina."

I narrowed my eyes. How do he know her?

"You remember her?" Jasmine asked joyfully.

"Yes, why not, you had introduced her to me and Jasmine say something and I don't remember has this ever happened." Naksh said in flirting tone.

"Unlike someone." with that she give me a bombastic side eye. While Elina snickered.

"Guys, can we talk about the thing for which I called you here." I called them to change the topic and they nodded.

Naksh sat beside Jasmine.

"By the way which thing he hasn't told yet?" Elina asked pointing at me.

"You can understand Hindi?" I asked realising she understood what Naksh had said.

"Yeah, I am an Indian." She said

"Ohh" I nodded.

"But Naksh still didn't answered." She said

"Aaa, that is interesting story let me tell you." Naksh said with excitement rubbing his hand together.

I shook my head in no to Naksh to not to tell them further. But Naksh is Naksh he told him everything. Jasmine and Elina listened with keen interest while eating their snacks which I ordered them a while ago.

"I can't, I already have a girlfriend ."

All of them looked at me like I have grown two horns on my head. There was silence for few minutes after which my uncle bursted into laughing. My dad also chuckled and my grandfather— he was glaring at me. I gulped.

Chachu somehow controlled his laughter and said. "My god Saurabh, what a nice joke!" I rolled my eyes.

"Saurabh do we looked like a fool to you?" dad asked.

"Saurabh I asked you to choose from two options , not to lie about having a girlfriend." grandpa stated firmly.

"Dadaji I am not lieing. I already have a girlfriend." I lied with my much gained confidence.

'Saurabh, tera dimag kya ghaas charne gaya hai kya Jo yeh sab bol raha hai.' my subconscious mind said.

(Have you lost your mind that you are saying all this.)

'What can I do? I don't have any other option.'

"Saurabh, we already know that you don't have any girlfriend, so stop telling lie." Dad scolded.

"Dad I am not." I said in my defence.

"Oh really!" dadaji raised his eyebrow. "If it's like that then why did you never told us about her?"

" Be...Because." I said nervously.

"Because?" the trio said together.

Think Saurabh. Think.

"Yes, because of her FAMILY." I shouted at last word. "Because she said that until she didn't convince her family we have to keep our relationship. That's why I didn't tell you about this." I said.

Very good Saurabh. Good job.I mentally patted my back.

"How can we believe that you are not lying?" dad asked.

"Papa main aapko usse kisi din milvaunga na." I said.

( Dad, I will someday make her meet you )

"Call her." grandfather said.

"What?"

"Call her Saurabh and put it on speaker even we want to listen to her." grandfather stated.

"But dadaji"

(Grandfather)

"No but vut. Call her." He ordered.

'Le phas gaya n' my subconscious mind mocked me.

(Now you got stuck)

Sweat beads started forming on my head while that trio where eagerly waiting for my move. Why in the world did I have to lie about girlfriend.

I thought about calling Jasmine but then rejected the idea immediately.

Think Saurabh think.

Yes. Naksh. How can I forget him? He is very good in my mimicking voice even girl's voice.

With that hope I dialled his number.

Ring.... Ring

WTF! Did he just cut my call? I stared at my phone in shock. I again dialled his number but he again cut my call.

Fucker, if you didn't pick up my call now then I am surely going to kill you.

I again tried but this time he pick up.

On call~~

Naksh- What? Why are you calling again and again?

Me- Baby why didn't you pick my call? I asked in sugarcoated voice.

Dad and uncle gave funny expression on hearing me calling someone baby.

Naksh- Baby ? Saurabh you are only talking n .

Me- yes my Darling .

Naksh- Darling ? Baby? Abey pk hai kya ?

( Are you drunked)

Me- Oh your family was there. Okay okay.

Naksh- Abey pagal ho gaya hai kya ? Kya bol raha hai?

(Have you become mad? What are you saying)

Me- Baby, I am sorry I told my family that I have girlfriend.

Naksh- Aayein? Teri voh bhi girlfriend! yeh kab hua?

(What? You have a GIRLFRIEND! When did this happened?)

Me- No, it's not like that.

Naksh- then what?

Me- Actually my family was forcing me to marry someone. So it just slip from my mouth about you otherwise why will I break my promise?

Naksh- Don't tell me you lied about having girlfriend?

Me- yes.

Naksh- OHHH . Now I understood. So you want me to talk in girl's voice as your girlfriend to your family.

Me- YES

I sighed in relief. Thank God he understood.

Naksh- What will I get in return?

Me- Whatever you wish baby.

I said with gritted teeth and faking a smile.

"Saurabh put the call on speaker." grandfather said I nodded.

Naksh- Okay then, fix my date with Jasmine.

Me- Okay. Now I am putting call on speaker.

Naksh- Okay

With that I put the call on speaker making sure not to display Naksh's name.

Naksh- Namaste Dadaji, (In female voice)

(Hello grandfather )

Dad and uncle got shocked listening a female voice. I smiled. Good job Naksh. Keep it up.

Grandfather- Namaste beta.

(Hello child)

Naksh- Sorry dadaji we didn't tell you about us. ( In female voice)

(Grandfather)

Grandfather- Its okay beta. If your family isn't ready then I will try to talk to them.

Naksh- But they already agreed for this. ( In female voice)

I widened my eyes listening him.

Grandfather- What ? But Saurabh said that you didn't talked to your family yet.

Naksh- I... I mean today only I talked to them and they agreed. (In female voice)

I sighed.

Grandfather- Okay

Naksh- Dadaji main rakhti hun mujhe mere papa bula rahe hain. Bye. ( In female voice)

( Grandfather I keeping the call because my father is calling me.)

Grandfather- Okay beta ji.

With that he hurriedly disconnected the call afraid of getting caught. I sigh in relief. Everything went well. Now I will get deal back.

"Dadaji now you believe me?" I asked and he nodded.

"Okay then what about deal?" I asked hopefully.

"Yeah I will clear that problem this weekend." He said.

"But why? I was planning to throw party. What if the other company gets the deal?"

"Don't worry about that they have liked your idea so the contract is yours."

"But why not tomorrow only."

"Because on this weekend I will meet your girlfriend and then only you will be able to sign the contract."
